The Surprising Job I Do Most When Renovating

Right now we are remodelling the living room of our place in London, and before that it was a renovation of the garage, and before that it was the addition off of the kitchen. Somewhere along the way, I have become more of a foreman in these home improvements than I ever intended. Mostly, I find that I drive around constantly scouting, gathering and returning supplies. I do so much driving that I think the next thing I will do is look into driving jobs, because your really do have to know what you are doing to drive in this city.

Certainly, when we bought the house six and a half years ago I knew that in order to turn it into a functioning, and comfortable home there would be a lot of sweat and tears. But, I did not see myself in such a hands on role. I know now that I must have been kidding myself.

Nonetheless, along with numerous other skills that I have cultivated, driving was the one I least expected to bone up on. So we all joke around here that when all of these home improvements are complete, I will either want to stop driving for a while or become a driving instructor. One thing is for sure; I am going to make some real changes.
